Course Requirements
Students are required to attend 90
hours of lecture.
Students are required to attend
40 hours of clinical experience in a long term care
facility, approved and scheduled by ERS, Inc.
Students will also be required
to successfully complete and demonstrate the 21
competencies for nursing assistants that are required by
IDPH. These include, but are not limited to, areas such
as reading and recording vital signs, maintaining a
health environment, following emergency procedures, and
safe transfer techniques.
Completion of the final
examination, with a passing minimum score of 70%.
